We are Now Calling Customers in Pon 1!!

It is an exciting time for CCU right now, and we are very busy building out the Clarksville fiber network. We have already received over 600 orders of our potential 4,500 customers, the community response has been fantastic.
CCU has been quiet lately about the progress of our network construction, however, we have been making good progress despite almost 30 rain out days and a delay in some of the materials being received. It is with this in mind, we are now taking the next step to begin to plan for customer installations in the first of our 14 PON/Zones in town.
We have now begun to call customers who have already registered and placed their orders in PON 1. PON 1 is the area east of town running from Mill Street to the East Side of Rogers to the East Poplar Road area over to the Airport. The purpose of the call will be to confirm the orders and schedule a survey, so we can determine where on the side of the home we will be installing the box and the location inside that CCU will be installing the in-home router/gateway.
In the near future, we will begin calls for surveys in the next few PON 2, 3, 4 and 13. When we are ready to make those survey calls, we will post maps of those PONS as well.
Residential pricing runs from $45 a month for 100 Mbps up AND down to $90 a month for 1 Gbps up AND down. Again, there will be NO CHARGE FOR INSTALLATION and the router/gateway is included in the monthly service.
